Avid composer. Dedicated musician.
Andrea Vancura, composer, instrumentalist, and sound designer, is a recent graduate of the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. A writer of scores for short films and sound designer for three games, Vancura enjoys the process of creating music and sound to picture. A multi-instrumentalist, Vancura also maintains an active performance presence, playing in a variety of USC's instrumental ensembles as well leading the Our Savior Catholic Center choir. Vancura is currently studying privately with Ian Krouse.
"Composing music for film and other media experiences is my passion; I thoroughly enjoy the process of collaborating with directors
to capture the subtleties and essences of their works through my scores. My background in classical composition, combined with my
experience producing recordings and working in sound design, allows me to approach each project with the entire sonic landscape in mind,
creating and producing nuanced scores that truly complement and further the film's artistic vision."
